About Jen: Jen has coached at all SWGYL levels for 13 years. She is now also coaching the girls 7/8 Venom Club team. She is level-2 coaching certified with USA Lacrosse and has been a leader in our program for many years. She is also an official for women's lacrosse and has served as president for the SWGYL program and treasurer for the YAGLA league. In her world MOM stands for "mother of many" as she has 6 daughters, two of whom played lacrosse in college.

About Dave: This is Dave's 6th year coaching girl's lacrosse. He is level-3 coaching certified with USA Lacrosse. He has coached the K-2, 5/6 and 7/8 team. He is also an official for women's lacrosse. His eldest daughter (Leila) currently plays for the Southwest HS team and his two younger daughters (Lucille and Laurel) will be playing on the K/1/2 team.

About Eddie: This is Eddie's 2nd year coaching K-2 girl's lacrosse. He is level-1 coaching certified with USA Lacrosse. Eddie is a previous New Oxford High and York Select Club team player. He received playing opportunities for a few D2 schools but pursued technical school instead. Sports has always been a huge passion for him and he looks forward teaching the girls how to grow as players and as individuals.

About Ana: This is Ana's first year coaching SW girl's lacrosse. She is level-1 coaching certified with USA Lacrosse. She is excited to share her love of lax through coaching! She helped pave the way and played for one of the first teams at South Western, before it was even recognized as a club team. She played in the Keystone games as a member of the York Lacrosse Club. Ana played some club ball at the University of Pittsburgh. She is super excited to pick up her stick again to help develop the skills and love of the game for this next generation.

She went on to become a D1 cheerleader at Towson University for 4 years and was a captain for 2 of them. She is now a Neonatal Intensive Care United Registered Nurse and certified in CPR/first aid. She has always loved lacrosse and is excited to get back to the sport that she has missed so much!

She played for 10 years, starting in the 6th grade. She also played collegiate lacrosse at Juniata College. Laura is currently an elementary teacher within the SW school district. She is super excited to be coaching and cannot wait for the season to start!

About Jenell: This is Jenell's first year coaching SW girl's lacrosse. She is level-1 coaching certified with USA Lacrosse. She graduated from South Western High School in 2012. She played lacrosse from 7th-12th grade and was a starter on the varsity team throughout her four years of high school. She also played for the York Invaders club team during this time as well. Her daughter, Bristol plays for the 3/4 SWGYL team. Jenell is currently an RN in the Trauma ICU at York Hospital. She is looking forward to getting back to the sport that she loved and can't wait to see the girls grow as lacrosse players!

About Bobby: Bobby coached his oldest daughter's (Tatum) lacrosse team for 2 years in the past and this will be his 4th year coaching his youngest daughter's team (Bryar -5/6). Bobby has also coached Tatum's T-ball and softball teams. He has played baseball, football and wrestled in the past.

About John: This is John's 6th year of coaching SW Girls lacrosse. He is level-2 coaching certified with USA Lacrosse. He also coaches the girls' 7/8 Venom club team in the Summer and the Fall. He coached his son's soccer team for many years as well as his daughter’s softball team. He has three children. (Tres -age 23, Jalyn - age 16 – SW HS LAX team, and Payton - age 13 – 7/8 team). His wife (Rachael Beal-SWGYL President) assists with team tasks and coaching as well. John also played soccer, baseball, and football in the past.

His son Cole is a senior lax player for the SW HS team and will be playing for Washington College in the fall. His daughter (McKenzie - 7/8 team) plays for SWGYL and for the York Invaders club team.
