Marc Nano and Eric Pitre Named CUFLA All-Canadians

Western Goaltender Marc-Thomas Nano (#30) and Defenseman Eric Pitre (#1) named CUFLA All-Canadians.

OTTAWA, ON - The Canadian University Field Lacrosse Association has named Western's Marc-Thomas Nano and Eric Pitre as CUFLA All-Canadians.

Marc-Thomas Nano
Goaltender Marc-Thomas Nano (Oakville, ON) is a senior student studying business. He is planning a career in business or potentially law. This is Marc's second All-Canadian Honour (2008, 2009). Marc led the CUFLA league with a 5.64 GAA. Marc plays Jr. A box lacrosse for the Edmonton Eclipse (and prior to that, the Mississauga Tomahawks). He led Edmonton to their first ever Minto Cup (Canadian Jr. A Box Lacrosse Championships) Tournament berth in 2009.

Eric Pitre
Defenseman Eric Pitre (Toronto, ON) is a freshman studying social sciences at Kings University College campus at Western. Eric is a first time All-Canadian award winner. Eric helped lead Western to the league's best overall goals against average of 5.7 GAA. He also led Western's defense in scoring with 1 goal and 2 assists. Eric plays Jr. A box lacrosse for the Toronto Beaches. This summer, Eric also played for Team Ontario U19, winning the First Nations Trophy (Canadian U19 Field Lacrosse National Champsionship) along with Western teammates Ryan Cavanagh (Burlington, ON) and Nikk Trillo (Innisfil, ON).
